Loving KSL!!!

We have bought and sold many, many things over KSL classifieds in the past.  Don't you just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE KSL???  We recently purchased this awesome new bike trailer that I've been searching for for months!  These trailers sell on KSL in minutes and I've missed several.  They're the nicest one's made and cost a small fortune (which is why I wanted to buy a used one)!  When I saw this one go up for sale, I called and emailed the seller.  He called me back and said I wasn't the first to contact him, but I was the most enthusiastic, so he let me have 1st dibs!  What a great guy!  Now that we live so close to a fabulous trail, we plan on many fun family outings with this trailer.  Yippee Yeah!!!

Searching for Witches

My new neighbor, Alesa, and I took our 7 kids and went to Gardner Village to see the witches for UEA!  What a great, fun idea, huh?  Well, several thousands of other people thought so too!  Trying to navigate the narrow, brick pathways with 7 kids and 3 strollers (this experience just bumped my need for a double stroller up to the tipy top of my priority list) was close to a nightmare!  Especially with Jonah screaming practically the whole time!  Once we finally got home, it took the rest of the day for me to recover!  I love going to see the witches, but we'll NEVER do it on UEA weekend again!

Sarah at the Circus

Sarah's Christmas gift this year from her Nanny and Papa was a trip to the circus.  We love the experiences that Nanny and Papa give instead of toys.  We have plenty of toys!  Bring on the memories!  Unfortunately, Nanny and Papa's trip to Germany was at the same time the circus was in town.  So Nanny and Papa gave the tickets to the daddies to take the 3 lucky grandkids to the circus.  They had a blast!

I don't know why Blogger turned my picture.  It's right-side up on my computer.  Oh, well!  Here's Sarah's cousin, Samuel, with our Daddy and Sarah at the Crown Burger where they went for dinner before the circus.  Sarah calls it "The King's Crown" like in the Fancy Nancy books.

 Wow!  Look at THOSE ladies!

Sarah was so excited to go to the gift shop to choose a souvenir!  She chose a light-up wand thingy.  Thanks, Nanny and Papa for a great gift!

Football!!!

With our new house Brandon got his dream football viewing room!  We have our very own movie theater in our basement.  Yahoo!  Give them a little chips with dip and some little smokies, and you have very happy men!  Too bad BYU lost or we would have had happier men!  So if there's a good game coming on and you want to pretend you're sitting ON the field, give Brandon a call.  He's more than happy to host as many football parties as there are people who want to join him!

The Cutest Baby in the Universe

I know others of you with your own darling babies probably disagree with me, but isn't he just the cutest baby you've ever seen?  Is it possible to kiss a baby too much?  Is it weird to describe your baby as delicious?  I think every child deserves to have his parents fall in love with him, and I've definitely fallen for this little guy!  It does help that he sleeps 10-12 hours a night.  He was my earliest to sleep through the night at only 6 weeks old!  They seem so much cuter when YOU'RE well rested, don't ya think?  And just today, at 3 months, I noticed his 1st tooth, making him my earliest teether.  And despite my best efforts with a binky, he's finally found his thumb just 2 days ago.  But that makes him my last child to suck his thumb.  I think thumb-sucking must be hereditary since I was an intense thumb-sucker as a child.  (Jonah did start with his thumb, but switched to his fingers after a couple of months when he decided he needed more than his chubby little thumb to fill his mouth.:))  I try so hard to make mental notes so I can remember each child's smell and the softness of their skin as I kiss their little cheeks.  I wish you could somehow record those kinds of memories because I'm forgetting already!  For now, I'm just trying to bask in the smiles and cooing of little Nathan.
