Sarah's Kindergarten Program

Sarah had her Kindergarten program at the end of school this year.  She had a great year with the best teacher ever!  She grew lots, learned lots, and made lots of new friends!
Sarah LOVED Mrs. Piper  . . . and so did I!  She is a fabulous teacher!

Sarah is on the top row, second from the left.  She's very strategically placed between the 2 quietest girls in the class!  It's always entertaining to watch Sarah.  She's very animated and makes all kinds of funny, inappropriate faces!

We're so glad that Nanny & Papa could come watch Sarah sing her program!

 Sarah's buddies:  Olivia & Lizzie

Sarah with Mom & Dad.  We're proud of you, Sarah.  You've worked hard.  You've become a darling girl!

Rain, Rain Go Away

In May we had the wettest spring Utah has seen in 150 years!  It rained so much, I thought I would go bald from pulling all my hair out from the kids climbing the walls.  It's funny how for years we all prayed for rain, now we're praying for it to stop!  I feel terribly for the poor people who had damage to their homes and lost crops with all the flooding!  Thankfully, we didn't have water damage where we live.  But our playground did fill up with water.  It took about 4 days for it to drain!  Sarah even found a poor little bird who drown in our water.  It's wings were too wet to fly away.

Despite my pleadings, warnings and threatenings the kids still played in the water.  My neighbor called to "thank" me for opening up a neighborhood swimming pool for a couple of days.  I'm sure she was really grateful when her kids came home soaked from head to toe!

All Sarah Wants For Christmas . . .

Now Sarah is the one singing, "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!"  Too bad so far nobody is losing these teeth at Christmas time!  It's hilarious because I swear she purposely says as many "s" words as she can think of just to hear the silly sound she makes!  Oh, we love our darling Sarah!

Easter

I'm way behind on my blog and have a little catching up to do.  We'll see how much time I get here before a child desperately needs me. :)
Our traditional grandkids photo at Nanny's and Papa's house before the family Easter Egg Hunt!  17 grandkids now!  Wow!

Jacob was THRILLED to get a mini-basketball!

Sarah loves her darling new watering can!

Jonah got some sand toys that are so fun he really doesn't like to share them! :)

And Nathan got a sun hat -  perfect for his bald little head that I wonder if will ever grow hair!

On Easter morning the kids were happy to see that the Easter bunny remembered and brought sunglasses, flip flops and gardening boots.

Once again, Grandma kept Gymboree in business for another year by outfitting us in the cutest clothes ever!  Everyone at church has asked if I MADE these darling clothes.  Nope!  I don't even own a sewing machine!  Thanks, Grandma!
